We offer glycols in standard propylene and ethylene formulations as well as a new BioGreen option that offers the best in performance and cost but with the added benefit of being made from renewable resources and is fully biodegradable.

INTERCOOL BIOGREEN is a fully inhibited heat transfer fluid formulated from USDA certified glycol (1, 3-propanediol, CASNR 504-63-2) for freeze point depression as well as single fluid heating and cooling applications.

Industrial Inhibitors

Intercool Biogreen contains industrial corrosion control inhibitors which have been specially formulated to extend fluid service life as well as provide a higher level of reserve alkalinity and less maintenance requirements through re-inhibiting. The inhibitor package consisting of Phosphate, Boron, Nitrite, and Tolyltriazole (TTZ) protects your system and its components including ferrous and non-ferrous metals such as brass, copper, copper alloys, steel, cast iron, and aluminum.

Intercool Biogreen's boiling point is higher than most common glycols at 417°F which allows it to resist the degrading effects of boiling more efficiently than more common petroleum based glycols.

Intercool Biogreen is available in several concentrations (that can be diluted with de-ionized water) for custom freeze point suppression and offer less maintenance requirements through re-inhibiting. It also offers key advantages at lower temperatures over common glycols including improved viscosity and less pumping pressure.

INTERCOOL P-300 is a propylene glycol based industrially inhibited heat transfer fluid with an operating range of -60°F to 320°F engineered for applications that demand a low-toxicity fluid to satisfy environmental concerns and where propylene glycol use is demanded by law.
